Title: Microalgae utilization for removal of organic compounds from wastewater: Circular Economy Concept
Summary: Sustainable ways to improve water quality are urgently needed. Around 56% of the population of the world do not have their wastewater treated. It means that the wastewater goes directly to water sources such as lakes, rivers and oceans, polluting and harming the animals and populations that rely on these water sources. This thesis focused on microalgae as a sustainable way to treat wastewater and remove pollutants, improve water quality.
