The Department of Environmental Studies at the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Tel Aviv University invites applicants for:
Faculty position at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the field of Climate Science
and
Faculty position at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the field of Environmental Economics.
We are looking for excellent faculty member in the fields of climatology, the science and impacts of climate change, Earth System modelling, climate mitigation and adaptation, climate extremes, and climate solutions.
Preference will be given to visionary applicants, whose mission is in creating novel and influential solutions critical to the planet, including societal issues of the environment.
Individuals possessing a Ph.D., with two or more years of postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in research and a strong potential for developing an independent, interdisciplinary research program, and for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative external funding. A successful applicant will be expected to share our commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.

The Department of Environmental Studies at the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Tel Aviv University invites applicants for
Faculty position at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor and Associate Professor.
We are looking for excellent faculty members in all areas of Environmental Studies, who are interested and willing to engage in interdisciplinary environmental research. Our search is open to all fields in environmental studies, including, but not limited to the following specific subjects: environmental economy, urban planning, environmental education, environmental law, sustainable development, environmental public policy and decision making, natural resource management, environmental geopolitics.
Candidates are expected to have a clear vision to create novel and influential solutions to issues critical to the planet and to societal issues of the environment. Preference will be given to researchers who combine quantitative aspects in their research, and opportunities for joint appointments with other university faculties will be favorably considered.
