The workhop will present marine sciences with an emphasis on the case of Israel and France, two leaders in this field. A broad range of perspectives, from geophysics, biotechnologies, engineering, computer sciences or biology, will be presented from experts to show how marines sciences can be used to understand the ocean, how marine scientists are trained (and born!), and how they helped to build a blue economy based on sustainable marine resources. A unique workshop, that will be held in the amazing Porter Building in Tel Aviv University, Thursday 1st November from 14 to 16h.
